Marco Guilglimino's twenty years in the hair industry make him one of the preeminent stylist/colorists in New York.

Marco began his freelance career in Tokyo, and brought with him to America the Eastern concept of hair as an art form, as well as an innovative approach toward color and cut. In his intimate, loft-like studio in SoHo, NYC, Marco has created a private, comfortable space for clients to relax, highlighted by a wall installation by artist Markus Linnbrink.

Marco shares his technical versatility with his varied New York clientele. His belief that there is a perfect haircut for each individual shapes his approach. Taking cues from the client's lifestyle, face shape, bone structure and hair texture, Marco creates a look that is versatile and simple to style. Each haircut has an interior shape, as well as an exterior architecture that is designed to morph as it grows out to create a dynamic, evolving style.

Marco uses only the most environmentally sound coloring products, to create looks that use the hair’s natural color to eliminate the root line that plagues most dying processes.

Marco's stylings have walked the red carpet on the heads of such celebrities as Susan Sarandon, Hillary Duff and Tyra Banks, among others.
